Belterra Village

Belterra Village's master plan consists of twenty-six buildings, surface parking lots, and pedestrian circulation/spaces. The current project program includes the greater part as retail/restaurant space, a cinema, two office buildings, a potential hotel and senior housing.

U.S. Highway 290 borders the site along the north and the site backs into the Belterra residential community. The orientation of the project optimizes the access from the highway. Each building is accessed by means of a pedestrian and vehicular way. Dual pedestrian plazas anchor the retail at the front and back of the site. The plazas are connected by a pedestrian promenade that bisects the main parking lot. The buildings utilize tilt-up concrete construction methods for efficiency and aesthetics. The architectural finishes include exposed concrete, expressed as board form or sandblasted concrete, textured architectural coatings, corrugated metal panels, corten steel, synthetic wood slats and flush seam metal and wood soffits.
