Nelsen Partners provided master planning and architectural design services for this 247-acre mixed-use development in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The development is a dynamic framework of interconnected spaces, each with an identity of its own. It has been designed based on natural topography, taking advantage of terraced views and natural wind patterns. At the heart of the development is a mixed-use core, with 100,000 sf of street-level retail, 600 apartments, a 150-key hotel, along with a 3-acre central park. Clusters of villas and townhomes surround this core, connected with bicycle and pedestrian paths, which connect to neighborhood parks and amenities.
