This summer another one of our folks had the chance to visit the United Kingdom; but now Worthing, Bath, London, Barnard Castle, Lake District, Llandudno (Wales), Oxford, and many, many, other amazing spots in the area. During mid August Billy Schaefer had the chance to travel back "home" and enjoy a bit of the European continent. He made some pit stops that included London, Copenhagen, Malmo, and Sweden. He shared some good shots with us, check it out!

Last Tuesday, we had 4 future architects from Con Mi MADRE join us at Nelsen Partners for an office tour and a full day of activities and fun. We hope this little peek into the daily life of an Architect has convinced them to pursue architecture and start a rewarding career in design!

Last Saturday our team "FULL NELSENS" beat out a field of 34 teams at the AIA's Desert Classic Volleyball Tournament assembled by architecture firms throughout the valley to claim the championship after coming in 2nd the last two years!

Last Friday we had a great event in our Arizona office. More than twenty 5th - 8th graders from Thunderbird Adventist Elementary School came into the office for a learning visit and acquired some fresh knowledge about design, planning and architecture.
