TRAVEL JOURNAL – AUSTRALIA

This March, our own Daniela Valle had the chance to travel all the way to Australia. During those weeks, she made stops in Sydney and Melbourne; both cities offer amazing cityscapes and design-forward qualities. She found time to relax all while dipping in crazy-stunning beaches, taking-in a visual feast at sculpture park Pt. Leo, and meeting new furry friends. We asked Danny if she brought back some Vegemite to share with us in the studio, but unfortunately, she decided to go with the Tim Tams instead. Check out her 'Straya gallery below!

Architects in the Making: Young Disciples Christian Academy

Last Friday was Field Trip day for Young Disciples Christian Academy! The students toured our Scottsdale office & saw a glimpse of our team hard at work. George Melara showed them our “Design Pin-Up” area on where the project ideas all start to come together. Our classic Sketch Session had to be part of the agenda; challenging everyone's drawing skills (the happy onions was the favorite).  Linnea, Mihir & Janelle joined in on the fun!

TRAVEL JOURNAL – New York City

Last week, three of our Austin folks took off to the Big Apple. During their stay; Scott Chasteen, Alex Meyer, and Johanna Spencer visited USAI Lighting’s SOHO Collaboratory space where they tested, played, and enjoyed a full day of de-light. They were joined by Lisa Rogers of Spectrum Lighting, who contributed her lighting wisdom to the lessons of the day!

TRAVEL JOURNAL – England

This summer another one of our folks had the chance to visit the United Kingdom; but now Worthing, Bath, London, Barnard Castle, Lake District, Llandudno (Wales), Oxford, and many, many, other amazing spots in the area. We asked her how many cups of tea she had, but apparently she lost count. Please enjoy a very English photo-documentation through the lens of Johanna Spencer.
