Chalmers Courts, an eighty-year-old public housing project on Austin's East side, has undergone a transformative journey. Collaborating with HACA, Nelsen Partners has worked tirelessly to construct a new Chalmers that not only replaces the 1930s project but triples its capacity. This visionary project also introduces greenspace, creating a communal haven for neighbors and residents alike. As the last phase nears completion this summer, it will add an impressive 156 units, culminating in a significant milestone for the community.
