With a focus on pedestrian priority, human comfort, and protection from the harsh desert environment, Nelsen Partners was tasked with leveraging our retail and urban design experience to design and coordinate the public realm in the center of the 750-acre Town Square Dubai development. Four international architectural firms and a London-based landscape architect were underway with buildings when Nshama retained Nelsen Partners to design and coordinate the public realm, street scape, landscape, way-finding, environmental graphics, and storefront design criteria for the retail. In addition to the public realm, Nelsen Partners designed two signature blocks, including over 300,000 sf of retail and 6 residential towers with over 800 apartments.
